Ten years on from Sniper, Tom Berenger returns in this action-packed sequel as a former marine sniper called back to service to take out a Serbian general. But the Death Row inmate (Bokeem Woodbine) freed from jail to help him is captured... Enough action, twists and explosions follow to keep this thriller fodder interesting if not exactly distinguished.

Definitely not the original. This is a poor sequel. Even Tom Berenger, a guru at military films, can't save the script. The occasional sniper activity is a shadow of the first Sniper film, the bad guys are merely bad actors and the twists are stupid. Just like the mission in Sniper 2, the film itself is a farce. But, If you have nothing else to do, it's better than watching paint dry. Maybe.
