The true tale of Benny Silman (played by David Krumholtz), an American student who became an illegal bookie and started fixing sports games. This shows him getting out of his depth when all the local heavies want a piece of the action. A lightweight rise-and-fall tale that's entertaining enough, although a closing lecture from Silman himself seems unnecessary. Co-starring are Jennifer Morrison as Silman's long-suffering girlfriend, Callie, and Tory Kittles as a corrupt basketball player.
