Scooby-Doo
The crime-busting Great Dane and his pals get the CGI treatment in this embarrassingly enjoyable take on the Seventies cartoon series.
Yet more evidence that a) most of Hollywood has zero originality, b) cartoons into 'real-life' do not work. Utter dross served up for the mindless & their poor children. Nothing more than a paycheck for 2nd/3rd rate actors, staff & the studio. And sadly, there's a sequel....

Absolutely dire! The only link this has to the cartoon is Mathew Lillard's Shaggy: he's spot on (except for the farting scene, of course!) If you want to watch something more fun that this, I've just painted my bathroom wall!

Mathew Lillards "Shaggy" was the best part of the movie. He is Shaggy! A bit dissapointed that the script writers felt that they had to make Scrappy the "Baddy" instead of the usual "Mr Smithers", and to have the team bickering and fighting ruined my memories of the cartoon. Rowan Atkinson was at his usual best. Fans that are true to the original cartoons may be a bit disappointed, but newcomers and kids will love it. Overall though, a good movie.
