Every once in a while an excellent film, with a top notch cast, appears on the straight-to-DVD market. Directed by Bruce Beresford (Driving Miss Daisy), and starring Antonio Banderas, this is one such movie. Based on a true story, it tells of a Mexican revolutionary, Pancho Villa (Banderas), who could see the potential power of cinema to influence people, and, in 1913, invited New York movie producer Harry Aitkin (Jim Broadbent) to film his war. A real find, wonderfully shot, performed and told.
