Absolutely brilliant film. A must watch! Definitely for everyone. Don't miss it.

The book has great popularity so its going to get a lot of criticism crossing over to film. A good enough movie but does better as a book I feel. Tom Hanks isn't believable; the best thing about it is Paul Bettany's brilliant performance. The film does not exceed or fall below the standard I expected.

Critics are out of touch, this movie is well worth watching and is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time, having read the book I know it's missing a few things, but all in all an excellent movie.Well done to Tom Hanks and the rest of the cast for taking on a controversial movie and doing an excellent job. If you want to see a clever movie with a great plot and an ending that ties up all the loose ends then watch this. If you want to watch boring rubbish try broke back mountain!

It's sad that when a good movie comes along none of the so called critics can recognise it! I had never read the book, didn't know who the author was and decided to watch it because of all the negative hype. It turned out to be nothing like the critics reviews and everyone in my cinema was spellbound. I think the critics must have been watching broke back mountain by mistake! Anyway, this is a must see movie and well worth the admission. Don't believe the hype, watch this movie!

I think that this is certainly the blockbuster of the year- no question about it. It has everything that a great movie needs, action, great acting, suspence and most importantly a deep and meaningfull storyline which in this case has been created by the great mind of Dan Brown- this is a defenite classic and i can't wait for it to be released on DVD with special features and all. A MUST SEE FOR 2006, A MASTERPIECE CON GRATULATIONS !!!

Although I didn't think the film was as good as the book (adaptations rarely are) this is still an interesting and enjoyable film. Tom Hanks is his usual solid self, Paul Bettany is convincing as the mad monk but Sir Ian McKellen really does steal the show. When all is said and done and after all the hype, my advice is go and see it, make up your own mind!
