Kingdom of Heaven
Orlando Bloom plays a blacksmith-turned-battling defender of Jerusalem in his first major lead role. Director Ridley Scott's historical blockbuster based around the Crusades boasts his trademark visual flair but lacks the emotional punch he brought to Gladiator. Jeremy Irons and Liam Neeson bring some old school gravitas.
I loved this film - it was the best I've ever seen. Orlando is such a hunk!

Excellent...it's what Alexander could have been. The
casting is top-notch and the battles leave you speechless. A good film that scores high on all fronts.

I really loved this film but one thing that could be improved would be the dialogue which can tend to be boring and sidetracking at times but the fights were really cool!

Not the big battle film I thought it would be. Easy to get lost in diolouge. Great Cinematograpy though. Lots of potental, but fails to deleiver.

It's a wonderful film. Orlando is great, as far as I could see, he played the role as should be. It isn't a "Russell Crowe" type role. I love that they decided to tell the truth about what happened during the Crusades. There were evil people on both sides, much like today.

Wow! What a great film! Talk about action packed. The fight sequences are just incredible. Orlando was excellent, a subtle performance yet played with brooding intensity and a really strong physical presence which made him believable in the fight scenes. The baddies, especially Csokas may have been a bit hammy but for me this added to the fun.The only real criticism I have is the script which was mainly Ok but did get a bit clunky in parts. I would definitely recommend this film to anyone.

Orlando Bloom now has imense screen presence I thought he put in a wonderful performance in an exciting and for once historically accurate film. The battle scenes are breathtaking and all supporting cast members make it a very enjoyable film. Orlando has got to be our most marketable star and quite rightly so long may he continue to do so, he realy is a truly great young actor.
