Batman Begins
A fantastic 21st century retelling of the Dark Knight legend that sees Christian Bale hot under the cowl ridding Gotham of its criminal fraternity, while director Christopher Nolan keeps his cool behind the camera. A great cast make the best of Nolan and David S Goyer's excellent script that banishes all nightmare memories of Batman & Robin and makes this the best Batman yet by a Gotham City mile.
This is the best movie, I really like it. This is a special movie.
Colin Foster
Undoubtedly the best Batman ever - this had the darkness of the comics I used to read all those years ago. See this movie to see what superhero films could and should be about.

I must admit when i first heard about a new Batman film my first thoughts were a repeat of the dire Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, but beyond all this I still went to see it and I must admit it blew me away. With the all A list cast and A list director this film has to be without a doubt the best film of 2005. Christian Bale would make Michael Keaton proud as Christopher Nolan would make Tim Burton proud. And although Michael Gough made a great Alfred, Michael Caine is 100% better.

I love this film, Christopher Nolan has really brought Batman back to life, giving the dark knight some dignity. Christian Bale was superb as Batman, making him a much darker character. The casting is brill, I mean you got legends Morgan Freeman & Michael Caine. There's nothing bad about this film at all, true genious.

Quite simply - Batman Begins grabs you by the hair and swings you around until you collapse to the floor gasping for breath. This is how explosive and exciting Batman Begins is! From the opening sequence to the last credit, Batman Begins is an awe-inspiring comic book action movie.
Bale as Batman - for me - was always going to be a bit critical for me, however I was proven wrong and Bale's acting was flawless as the caped crusader.
Cillian Murphy as The Scarecrow was absolutely genius!

This is how Batman should have been filmed from the beginning! Micheal Keaton's Batman has never been beaten - until now! Christian Bale is perfect and even Mrs Cruise puts in a decent performance. Top effects and even better visuals will leave you wanting more then the 140 mins runtime stated. More Batman films like this please...

What can i say, forget the past, this new version is dark, moody, intriguing, exciting. Someone has actually thought of a story line that makes sense in reality. You don't need to watch any of the old Batman films! This has the full story in one! Excellent.

The first Brit to play Batman, and of course he does it right the first time. Batman Begins is the best Batman film of them all, no question about it.
Samuel Luckhurst
Best comic book film ever. Dark, gritty, intense, with an all-star cast that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Spider-Man 3 has a lot to live up to...
Anabel mary Moore-Brabazon
I loved it, mostly because i want Michael Caine as my butler. That would be awsome.

Loved it! Christian Bale is Batman - no one can now ever compete.
Dark and mysterious. Fantastic!
Ben Redford
This film soars. Christian Bale is great as the new Bruce Wayne/Batman. Despite the film's slightly darker plot, this Batman stays firmly in the air.

Batman Begins is by far the best Batman film ever made. The story of how Bruce Wayne came into being is superb. I thought this film was going to be all effects and no story but director Christopher Nolan has proved me wrong. This was a great movie.

This is certainly one of the better Batman movies out there going back to the early years of Batman and how he came to be the menacing force for Justice in Gotham city. Throughout the movie there are plenty of nice touches the origins of the Batcave, and Batmans array of weapons including an early version of the Batmobile.I really enjoyed this movie especailly after the failure that Batman and Robin was.
Steven Schreer
Truly amazing! I totally loved this movie! It's the darkest Batman movie yet and British director Christopher Nolan did a superb job with the film in my mind. I think this film has one of the greatest endings ever. It's set up very nicely for a sequel - which I really want to see. If you're a true Batman fan I recommend this movie. All Batman fans will love it! Nice one!

Absolutely brilliant! Finally we have a Batman film that actually focusses on the history of how Bruce Wayne became Batman - never truly been done by any of its predecessors. The cast is excellent and the one-liners truly hit the mark. Go and see it to believe it! Also, the batmobile rocks!!!!
Oh yeah, Bale is the best Batman / Wayne by far.... and Gary Oldman makes a great to-be Commisioner Gordon... and Michael Caine isnt bad as Alfred either!

Best comic book film ever! Fantastic logical story, great depth in all caracters, not too much CGI, Christian Bale is excellent as the Dark Night. Tim Burton eat your heart out.
