GoodFellas
Martin Scorsese's gangster drama based on the memoirs of a real-life Mafia hood. Starring Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, Joe Pesci.
Excellent film - loved it from start to finish. Ray Liotta is superb.

An Amazing Movie! Goodfellas has the action of Gangster No.1 and the depth of no other movie. Goodfellas has re-watchablity and can be watched socially, even on rainy days.
Super movie and a must see for all personalities.

This is simply brilliant! Just fantastic, everyone should see this movie. Even if it is just for Joe Pesci's performance - which is near perfect. I don't normally hype things up but this I feel I need to... if you haven't seen it, hang your head in shame!

Goodfellas is undoubtedly the finest gangster movie ever made, since it's based on the true life story of legendary henry hill, played brilliantly by Ray Liotta. Certainly Scorsese's finest hour. The accent, style, characters all make up what is to me one of the greats in cinematic history. Powerful performance by Robert De Niro(a role he seems born to play), Lorraine Bracco and the devil himself Oscar winning Joe Pesci with his 'I'm funny? Funny how?'

This film is a must see for any Gangster movie fan. Although very action packed and darkly funny, it tends to drag a bit. The ending is very abrupt and doesn't do the film justice in the slightest. Think of this as a few short brilliant films, instead of one, long, middle-weight Gangster Movie.

Goodfellas is a classic. A movie that has all the ingredients that a gangster film must possess. Great dialogue, skilful direction and quick editing (a hallmark of Scorcese), great individual acting displays from all, and a violent backdrop spanning 3 decades. Joe Pesci in his most memorable role stands out as the fiery Tommy, and De Niro and the excellent Liotta perform their roles with assurance. An absorbing and very fine classic that should be treasured. One that will live with me forever.
