Rebecca Miller

Although landing high profile acting roles, including Regarding Henry and Consenting Adults, Miller has latterly opted for a life behind the lens.
The daughter of playwright Arthur Miller, she studied painting at Yale University before launching on her short but successful acting career.
Her feature breakthrough was Regarding Henry with Harrison Ford, which she followed up with sailing drama Wind and Consenting Adults with Kevin Spacey.
Small roles followed in The Pickle, Mrs Parker and the Vicious Circle and Love Affair before she quit acting for directing.
Her first feature Angela, which she also wrote, was well received as was Personal Velocity, starring Kyra Sedgwick and Parker Posey.
Husband Daniel Day-Lewis has been slated to star in her third feature The Rose and the Snake.
