This yarn is a rather silly variation on the Jaws theme with baddie James Franciscus hiding a cache of diamonds in a Piranha-infested lake. Trying to retrieve the rocks has the inevitable gory results. To add a bit of interest, a host of glamorous models arrive for a photo assignment. Lee Majors is the firm-jawed hero while aforementioned glamour is also provided by Karen Black, Margaux Hemingway and Marisa Berenson. If it had all been done-tongue-in-cheek, the film would have worked. There's a spoof in there somewhere trying to get out. Some fun, though, and some excitement here and there.
