The cast is more interesting than the plot in this glamorously-dressed thriller which miscasts Shirley Jones as an investigative reporter (with a costume change for every scene) on the trail of political assassins. Round every twist in the tale lurks a familiar face, among them Stephen Boyd, Ian McShane, Farley Granger, Virginia Grey, James Darren, Stephen McNally, David Hedison and Pernell Roberts. And Miiko Taka, Marlon Brando's girlfriend in Sayonara, pops up as a secretary.
