Columbo (Peter Falk) becomes the target of a deranged woman, who believes he is responsible for her husband's death in prison, in this well-plotted mystery, which opens with the funeral of Mrs Columbo. Fans of the series will know what to expect and won't be disappointed, although there is a little additional twist in the tail of this one. Watch out for guest star Ian McShane, obviously taking a break on the profits from flogging dodgy antiques in Suffolk as Lovejoy.
