Indeed. A working knowledge of the way poker, and, to some extent, the mind of a gambler will help you enjoy this film more. I enjoyed it. Damon and Norton work well together, Norton will bug you somewhat but that is simply a good trait of a good character actor. At times this film is a little insipid, romantic interests get in the way a little and the script is no where near as sharp as Britain's counterpoint - Guy Ritchie's Lock, Stock. Still, it is enjoyable stuff and I swear I'm not bluffing

I think this is a great film, Sky giving it only one star is crazy. To the poker community it's a classic. If you play poker you will enjoy it more, however I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy it if you don't. There are some big names and a good plot, it keeps the viewer interested all the way through.
