Although the inventor of the weapon should take the blame, the wrong man is imprisoned for ten years and the movie starts when he is set free.

Revenge is on his mind and he hijacks an ice cream van containing Arlo (Gooding Jr) and Tim (Ulrich) who subsequently find themselves on a mission to protect the world.

They must ensure that the biological chemical weapon (nicknamed Elvis) is not exposed to temperatures over 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

The story is complicated further by the fact that the weapon is not only exposed to natural dangers but it's also under threat of being stolen by a terrorist.

Instead of the action taking place on a bus, this time we see the nuclear weapon nearing boiling point in an ice-cream van and thrills and chases endure until the end of this movie.
