Eltringham won plaudits for her debut feature, the supernatural drama The Darkest Light starring Stephen Dillane and Kerry Fox.
While graduating from Bournemouth Film School, where she directed the short Lune, which was a hit on the gay festival circuit.
Teaming up with The Full Monty writer Simon Beaufoy, she co-wrote Physics for Fish and the pair were commissioned to write for BBC2's 10x10 series.
Eltringham then wrote and directed Footprint Film's first drama Linger and collaborated again with Beaufoy to make the short Yellow.
She was BAFTA nominated for the TV series Kid in the Corner, starring Douglas Henshall.
Her second big screen feature - This Is Not A Love Song - gained fame for being the first film to be released on the internet.
