True life story of an environmental activist (Ira Einhorn, hence 'Unicorn') in the Seventies (played by Kevin Anderson) who killed his girlfriend and disappeared. But he hadn't reckoned on the determination of her father (Tom Skerritt) to bring him to justice. This is no laugh a minute story with a happy ending, though and many nasty facts are discovered about Einhorn's life.
