Fleeing from a drug-fuelled lover, Dorothy (Susan Lynch, very good) comes to the rescue of blonde bimbo Petula (Rachel Weisz, not so impressive) who is being beaten by her boyfriend. Dorothy brains him with a scaffolding pole and he later dies. How the girls accidentally hatch a million pound ransom from the dead man's vicious brother, and how Dorothy's lover (Iain Glen) nearly upsets the applecart, provides the thrust of this nasty, bloodsoaked black comedy.
