Roxane Mesquida

Born: October 1 1981
Where: Marseilles, France

Mesquida came to international recognition as the flirtatious Elena in Catherine Breillat's controversial A Ma Soeur.

She made her big screen debut in Angel Sharks in 1997 and went on to star as Marine in The School of Flesh.

She landed a Best Actress Award for A Ma Soeur at the Chicago Film Festival and went onto reprise the role in Breillat's Sex is Comedy.

Upcoming roles include Very Opposite Sexes and Le Grande Voyage.
