Jaume Balagueró

Born: November 2 1968
Where: Barcelona, Spain

The former horror fanzine editor made his big screen directorial debut with the horror-thriller The Nameless.

He began his film career making shorts such as Alicia and Dia Sin Luz before helming The Nameless in 1999.

He followed that with the documentary OT: La Pelicula in 2002.

The same year he made the international chiller Darkness, starring Anna Paquin and Iain Glen.
