The Music Man

A lively, affectionate remake - complete with great songs - of the 1961 classic musical. Matthew Broderick plays con artist Professor Harold Hill, who arrives in River City, Iowa, rakes in money for a non-existent boys' band - and falls in love with local librarian Marian (Kristin Chenoweth). The moral of the tale is a little hurried, but most songs are great fun.
