One Way Out

Suspense thriller starring James Belushi, Jason Bateman and Angela Featherstone. A debt-ridden cop finds himself under pressure from the Mob to help a young man get away with murdering his unfaithful wife.

At the heart of this straight-to-video thriller there's an intriguing storyline. A seemingly amiable and honest homicide cop (James Belushi) owes gangsters thousands of dollars in gambling debts. To pay it off, Belushi agrees to coach a wealthy young man (Jason Bateman) in how to kill the latter's beautiful wife (Guylaine St-Onge). Belushi is fine, but Bateman fails to convince. A good idea, badly executed.
