Francis Lawrence

The acclaimed video director made his feature debut with the sci-fi thriller Constantine starring Keanu Reeves.
As a child Lawrence shot Super-8 movies and went on to study film at Loyola Marymount University.
After graduating, he began to make music videos for a friend who owned a small record label.
"All I can do is go out and make the movie that I think is really interesting -- make a movie that I don't think is irresponsible."
During his music video career, he has worked with stars ranging from Britney Spears to Janet Jackson and Aerosmith.
His video Black Suits Coming for the Will Smith movie Men in Black II is rumoured to be one of the most expensive ever made.
In 2003, he landed the best pop and best male video award for Justin Timberlake's Cry Me A River.
