A brilliant film that had me and my friends terrified in the scenes near the end.

Great film. Can be slow at times, so if you want thrills a minute this might not be for you. But, if you're someone who enjoys the slower "Dead Poets Society" or "Field of Dreams" genre then you'll love this.
There are films that focus more strongly on a man's battle with their faith, but to combine Aliens with a VERY moving storyline(not to mention great performance by Mel Gibson) and maintain credibility is pretty unique(unless ET counts!).
