The youngster has attracted attention for roles in a series of supernatural chillers from Godsend to Birth.
Bright started his acting career appearing in several major commercials in both Canada and the United States.
He quickly moved to a number of TV series, including Dark Angel, Night Visions, and Higher Ground.
His big screen debut came in 2002 with Lone Hero, a spin-off from the Dark Angel series with Lou Diamond Phillips.
Two years later he appeared in the supernatural thriller The Butterfly Effect, with Ashton Kutcher and Eric Stoltz.
He also appeared alongside Robert De Niro in the horror-thriller Godsend and played the young Sean in the supernatural drama Birth with Nicole Kidman.
Recent work includes Wayne Kramer's ultra-violent drama Running Scared with Paul Walker.
