Daniel Gillies

The actor is best known for the role of devious Mr Whickam in the Bollywood Bride & Prejudice from Bend it like Beckham director Gurinder Chadha.

After moving to New Zealand as a child, Gillies made his small screen debut in Street Legal before making his big screen outing in the thriller No One Can Hear You.

Subsequent appearances included the drama Various Positions and the TV movie The Snow Queen with Bridget Fonda.

In 2004, he made an appearance as J Jonah Jameson's astronaut son in the blockbuster Spider-Man 2 before being cast in Bride & Prejudice.
