Rawson Marshall Thurber

The writer and director made his big screen debut with the comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story.
Rawson graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York, with a BA in English and Theatre Arts.
He went on to earn an MFA in producing from the Peter Stark Program at the University of Southern California.
Marshall worked as an assistant to Charlie's Angels writer John August and cut his teeth with the video The Band.
Next came the comedy short Terry Tate: Office Linebacker with regular collaborator Michael Sean Guinness.
Dodgeball - made by Ben Stiller's production company - starred Stiller and Vince Vaughn in the comedy about a team of underachievers.
