The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
A tale of two towers and three adventures as a divided fellowship take different paths in their quest to destroy the One Ring.
The second part in Peter Jackson's critically acclaimed The Lord Of The Rings trilogy.
Jackson left us in such an emotional state after the Fellowship Of The Ring, it seemed impossible that The Two Towers could equal the first chapter's success. But The Two Towers exceeded all expectations and surpassed the achievement set by The Fellowship. Combined with many Oscar-worthy performances, The Two Towers has set a huge benchmark for The Return Of The King.

I'm sorry but I thought the film was rubbish... Only Joking, it is in fact one of the best films ever made. The characters are given time to develop and you find yourself holding your breath with each scene. Never have I been affected by a film like I have with the LOTR Series

From the first scenes to the climatic battle at Helm's Deep this movie is, without doubt, Peter Jackson's crowning moment. Roll on the Return of The King!

The greatest virtue of The Two Towers is that it surpasses The Fellowship of the Ring in the development of themes that Tolkein left underdeveloped. Athough this causes glaring deviations from the book, it greatly expands the dramatic effect. The participation of the Elf in the defence of Hornburg is the most obvious example, but the most dramatic and best placed is Aragorn's encouragement of the youth awaiting their first battle.

Stirring stuff. I watched this film with my son and we were both caught up in it from start to finish. The feeling of hope against all odds and the strength of fellowship was so moving, we were quite depressed to come out of the cinema and into the mundane real world! Brilliant - an awesome achievement.

Well, it's the first time my kids have sat silently for three hours! I need more like it! Thank you, Tolkien, and every one involved!

The Two Towers is an explosive film. It's a lot better than the Fellowship of the Ring but it leaves out some parts of the book.

I thought that the Two Towers was a brilliant film and all the cast were amazing. It was like they really were the characters. So all I have to say now is, if you haven't seen it yet - what's wrong with you? You're missing out! Oh, yeh, just have to say, Viggo and Orlando very gorgeous!!

A great film, but quite long flim. The battle scenes were stunning. It's almost worth going to see it for them alone. It is a lot darker than the first, with more special effects. You really of need to see the first movie, or read the book to understand it. But all in all a brilliant flim.
