A Lot Like Love
A knee-trembler in the toilets of a flight across America is the beginning of a seven-year stop-go relationship between Ashton Kutcher's ambitious graduate and Amanda Peet's free spirit. British director Nigel Cole struggles to make something of an underwritten script but the two leads have a likeable chemistry.
This film was a refreshing twist on the typical 'rom-com' i.e isn't overly soppy or cringe inducing. Kutcher is a really likeable lead man, his comic timing is fantastic although maybe someone like Reese Witherspoon or Kate Hudson might have been a better choice as lead female. As for the script, I didn't think it was all that bad, a little predictable at times but the laughs were great! All in all, this film is a romantic film that you could actually bring the boyf to!
