A downbeat B-movie serial killer thriller with a sci-fi angle, this would have been a B-plus movie if it had had a better script and a solid follow-through on some interesting ideas.

Aaron Eckhart plays an FBI agent on the trail of a killer who, it would appear, is targeting serial killers. There are some strange and beautiful camera shots, but also a lot of confusing flashback - or forward - visions as the plot begins to piece together.

Overall, it's a bleak, unengaging thriller, giving The Matrix's Carrie-Anne Moss little to do as another agent on the case.
