This film kills it. Whoever doesn't think this is funny must be socially retarded and needs to get out more. The funniest film ever.

Absolutely hilarious. My lunch breaks are now full of "By the Beard of Zeus", while it is second nature to say "I immediately regret this decision" after a mistake. The BEST COMEDY EVER and Steve Carrell just adds to the hilarity

Easily one of the best comedies ever!! Hilarious from start to finish. I've watched it about 20 times and won't get sick of it (it's unreal when you've had a few beers!).

Quite simply the funniest film ever made. Burgundy is a legend and after watching this you will want to don a dodgy tash and walk around saying "I am kind of a big deal" and "People know me". Excellent stuff, its a really cool flick, I love it more than Elf and Scarface

A fantastic film. Ferrell is even better than he was in Elf. Great cameos from Ben Stiller, Jack Black, Luke Wilson but the person that stood out from the crowd for me though was the hilarious Steve Carrell. What a casting choice. The guy's hilarious.

Absolutely superb!!!

A great movie from Ferrell, further cementing his position as a rising star in comedy (despite being a stalwart of Saturday Night Live for years) and a nice deviation from the equally watchable ELF. Full of quotables ("I believe diversity is an old wooden ship") and great to look at. Those that bemoan it are probably those that didnt 'get' Napoleon Dynamite... get with the times guys!!!!

I have never been a fan of Will Ferrell and I still intend not to be one after seeing this shocking excuse for a film. Although he developed his character of Rod Burgundy quite well, the script was just bizarre. I wouldn't watch this film again if you paid me!

Being a fan of Ferrell I was glad to finally get the chance to watch this and I can highly recommend it. The jokes are clever throughout and it really does poke fun at the era. The story is quite predictable but the characters throughout more than make up for this and if you are a fan of Ferrell's you will definitely enjoy this. There are quite a few cameos most of them during a news team showdown where all the old faces make an appearence and is one of the best parts of the movie. Funny!

I would just like to say that if you have not seen this film...watch it! If you dont own it...get it! It really is that simple, this film IS the movie that needs to be watched. From the outragously funny weatherman "Brick Tamland" to the hilarious "Ron Burgundy" you'll be laughing from the off. I would have to say that this is easily the best performance so far from Will Ferrell.

I have to completely disagree with the negative review from Zoe. I LOVED this film! I had tears running down my face by the time the credits rolled. I will definitely be buying this when it is released on DVD - this movie has the potential to be a cult classic! Trust me - give it a go, if you have a sense of humour I guarantee you will be belly-laughing the whole way through it. Oh and I'm a girl! Shock horror! The absence of a p*nis does not mean an absence of a sense of humour, love.

This film looks funny but just isn't. That's a lie, some parts are mildy funny but there are no rip-roaringly funny sections. The characters are well played but the story limps to a crawling end. Not one for the ladies who tend to have a different sense of humour. Most adult men will not find this film funny either. It is, at the most, amusing.
