Brokeback Mountain

Yup, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do... so long as no one else finds out about it.
This movie has set a standard, which all other love stories will be aspiring to from now on. There has NEVER been a movie that has stuck with me; even two years later. It will change your mind; it will change your life.

This film shows an unorthadox relationship growing in the most difficult of conditions. A heartwrenching tale of finding the right person at the wrong time. Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal were superb, as was Michelle Williams. Director Ang Lee captured the thoughts and emotions of the two men perfectly and the intimate scenes were a tasteful mix of passion and violence. Amazing quality of cast and great vision from the director.

I don't know about it "not twanging the heart strings" as I cried for the last 15 minutes solid! Kudos to Heath Ledger for saying almost everything with a look and a facial expression! It was almost painful to watch him! In addition, it was interesting to see people actually walking out the cinema in disgust at the love scenes which, in my opinion, were tastefully done. A thought-provoking film.
