Sniper Film Put On Hold
Gunman film indefinitely delayed after Washington killingsAfter a series of gun attacks in the Washington DC area, Fox have pulled the release of Joel Schumacher's sniper thriller Phone Booth.
A spokeswoman for the studio said: "In light of recent events, we are delaying the release of Phone Booth.
We don't have a new date yet."Phone Booth, which stars Kiefer Sutherland and Colin Farrell, centres on a man who answers a ringing pay phone and discovers he's in the gunsight of a sniper, who plans to kill him if he hangs up.
Director Schumacher was against pulling the movie but said he would back any decision made by the studio.
