007's Sexiest Romp Axed

Bond may finally get to snog Moneypenny in Die Another Day, and have a steamy clinch with foxy Jinx, but his raunchiest scenes were deemed too racy for a PG film.

New Bond girl Rosamund Pike, 23, claims she had "pretty fantastic sex" with 007 as they romped under animal skins at an ice hotel.

But director Lee Tamahori - despite calling their scenes together "the sexiest ever filmed" - was forced to remove them.

In the final cut it's all over as soon as they slip beneath the sheets - not something 007 would want to boast about.

Rosamund plays Bond's fellow MI6 agent Miranda Frost, an Olympic fencing champion.

"The idea was to give Bond the lay of his life and make something a little bit more real," she told The Sun.

"You watch the early Bond films and you wonder if they actually had sex."
