The 42-year-old English actor declared that he hates acting and is ready to give it all up to become a family man.
"I'm ready, baby," he exclaimed. "I need to get married and have children."
"Put it this way," he added. "If I went to a party tonight and bumped into a fantastic girl - whereas three years ago, it might have led to a short-term relationship, now I definitely keep my thoughts open to the idea of settling down and breeding."
Grant also hinted that he is not satisfied with his career.
"Imagine what it's like, at 42, to be sitting in Hair and Makeup.
"It's ridiculous. I think it's alright if you've writen the film and you're directing it.
"But to be wheeled on, a char-monkey, at the age of 42. I kind of hate it.
"In fact, I hate it quite a lot - all acting. But especially movie acting."
Hugh's latest project is Love, Actually, with Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Colin Firth.
