The basic idea of this picture is so good that it would be a hell of a film if it fired on all cylinders all of the time. Dyan Cannon is its driving force as a wife who escapes from the asylum to which her grasping husband has had her committed to avoid an expensive divorce. She teams up with a trucker (Robert Blake) who has problems of his own and plans to turn her in for the husband's reward money. Zany incidentals liven up the story as it rolls along the highway, and both leads seem to be doing all their own stuntwork. It looks hairy enough to give the film that little extra boost.
