David Kelly

Where: Dublin, Eire
The Gate Theatre in his home town of Dublin was home to David's acting skills for years until his first US film offer came along in 1970. Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in the Bronx was followed by TV offers in the UK and US which eventually made him a household name.
The recurring role of Paddy in episodes of the British comedy series 2 Point 4 Children at the start of the 90's ensured that he was till leading a fruitful professional life well into his 60 and 70s.
Featured roles in films such as The Jigsaw Man; The Matchmaker and Waking Ned Devine were all critically acclaimed. In fact the latter is probably considered by Kelly himself to be his breakthrough screen role - at the age of 69! His rear-view nude shot has made the film famous!
Most recently David has starred in British gangster flick Mean Machine opposite Vinnie Jones and in the British comedy Greenfingers.
