He is one of Hollywood's most dependable supporting actors, but that lead part is still elusive.
The Natural, Big Shots and Outrageous Fortune brought him some recognition in the 80's, and in the 90's he was cast opposite some big names.
Green Card saw him acting with Gerard Depardieu, and in far and Away Robert worked with Brad Pitt in Far & Away.
Last Action Hero came along, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, and in 1993 Robert featured in the box office smash comedy Mrs. Doubtfire, opposite Robin Williams.
The Scarlet Letter with Demi Moore, and Dead Man Walking with Susan Sarandon were Robert's next project, and more recently he has starred in D-Tox with Sylvester Stallone.
