The problems of teenage parenthood are given a thoughtful and convincing airing in this poignant drama for which the easily moved should keep a handkerchief by. As the teenagers, Dermot Mulroney (since seen to good effect on the big screen in Young Guns) and Patricia Arquette are well-cast, convincingly confused and completely credible.
