Tom Berenger is sadly miscast as a confused priest in this steamy drama about the dilemma of being both an Italian-American Catholic priest and the son of a top Mafioso. Because of that unlikely fact, nothing else about the glossy production is very convincing. Daphne Zuniga, whose career at this time appeared to be on the ascendant, is an attractive femme fatale, although she delivers a highly suspect Spanish accent at times. It's the brainchild of Donald P Bellisario, a longtime TV writer and producer and co-creator of the Magnum detective series and Quantum Leap. And that's about its level.
