Super-agent James Belushi is assigned to recruit civilian John Ritter (the double of a dead spy) into a CIA mission to save the world. It's a promising start for a spoof spy thriller but, unfortunately, the film's deadpan approach to its outlandish material backfires badly and the result is an almost totally laugh-free comedy. By comparison, even Spies Like Us seems funny.
