Grossly over-acted, tedious and with liberal lashings of gratuitous sex and violence, this is a sad fate for Daniel J Travanti after hanging up his 'Hill Street Blues' Captain's badge. It's a modern-day pirate adventure with more twists and plot turns than there are barnacles on Travanti's boat. Faye Dunaway's in it too, and not improving her recent run of misfires. Plank-walking all round.
