Amanda is a British actress who has made her name in TV series such as Streets Apart, Spender, The Men's Room, Demob, Dangerfield and The Blonde Bombshell.
Her first acting job came in the British feature Richard's Things in 1981, where she played Josie, a widow who, following her husbands death, discovers and confronts his lover.
The rest of the 90s saw TV success for Amanda and she became a household name in the UK.
It was in the year 2000 that she starred opposite Tony Slattery, Adrian Dunbar and James Purefoy in The Wedding Tackle, a comedy feature directed by Rami Dvir.
The film told the story of the sexual rivalries between a group of friends during a stag night.
Amanda's most recent project was the high profile Mike Bassett: England Manager in 2001, in which she starred opposite Ricky Tomlinson of the Royle Family.
