The TV Movie meets Citizen Kane as Nick Mancuso plays a porn king publisher who rises from bastard baby to the leader of the pack. The piece opens with the Mancuso character dying, going back over his experiences, remembering his highlights and lowlights. And that's about the gist of it. Director Anthony Wilkinson imbues the work with a curious sense of morality which, when you consider the world in which the stroy is set, is a bit rich. However, Mancuso is credible in the main role, depsite a lacklustre script. Rip Torn is also good value as a right-wing, red-baiting publisher.
