The actor and sometime juggler is better known to American audiences for the drag role opposite Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies.

Mainly a stage and small screen actor, feature forays have included Corporate Affairs, Camp Nowhere and Hanks' That Thing You Do.

He also provided the "motion captured" basis for the boy in Robert Zemeckis' The Polar Express.

A founding member of New York's Colonnades Theatre Lab he also received four Emmy nominations for Newhart.

Practically a permanent fixture on Broadway, he enjoyed a successful run with Sly Fox and Hairspray.
