Hawke linked to Canadian modelUma Thurman and Ethan Hawke have separated after five years of marriage.
The pair have two children - daughter Maya, five, and son Roan, who is just one year old.
Hawke, who has branched out into writing novels, is rumoured to be having an affair
with a 22-year-old Canadian model.Uma, 33, has been filming Paycheck in Vancouver with Ben Affleck.
Meanwhile Ethan, 32, has been on the other side of Canada in Montreal shooting Taking Lives with Angelina Jolie.
There had been whispers of a Thurman-Hawke split earlier in the summer but Ethan was then linked by tabloids to co-star Angelina.
A representative for the couple, who met while filming Gattaca together, said: "At this present time, there are no plans for a divorce."
