Originally a dancer, Polly attended the Drama Centre in London and the school of the Ballet Rambert before performing on a number of occasions with the Royal Shakespeare Company.
An injury at the age of 18 forced Polly to change career direction and she turned towards cinema.
She first gained screen attention as an Irish terrorist in Phillip Noyce's Patriot Games. More recently she has starred opposite Sylvester Stallone in D-Tox.
