Fairly engaging low-budget comedy about a career counsellor played by sturdy Australian Chris Haywood, who, at mid-life, decides to follow his dream of becoming an actor. Supported by a well-paid, understanding wife (Katrina Foster), he undergoes some funny enounters with drama, speech and posture coaches. Alongside the amusing showbiz jokes, there's an unfulfilled relationship with a young actress (Nicole Kidman). Unfortunately, this light comedy ends on a heavy note with a preachy, impassioned speech about an actor's lot.
