Michael Caine has been in a good few stinkers in his time, but this Irwin Allen opus about a swarm of killer bees cutting a stinging swathe across Texas was a disaster movie in all senses of the word. What is more surprising is the fact that Richard Widmark, Henry Fonda, Richard Chamberlain, Fred MacMurray and Olivia de Havilland (to name but a few) all also agreed to appear in this dreadful film. Indeed it's so bad, it has developed something of a cult following, and shouting 'Run! Run! De bees are coming! ' in a hack Michael Caine accent is bound to get a laugh from those who have been stung by this stunningly dumb picture.
