Nicole Kidman gave early notice of her considerable talents and striking appearance in this her adult movie debut. It's an unpretentious Aussie number with Nicole playing a sexy rock singer who falls in love with windsurfer extraordinaire P C Simpson (played with effortless charm by Tom Burlinson). There are some spectacular surfing scenes, a scary encounter with a shark, lots of lovemaking and a dramatic will-he-make-it? ending. Not a great deal of content but the style wins through. Worth a look.
