Asia Argento

The xXx star is the daughter of horror director Dario Argento and stage actress Daria Nicolodi.
She broke into film at the age of nine appearing in Sogni e bisagni, and went on to star in three of her father's films; Trauma, The Phantom Of The Opera and The Stendhal Syndrome.
It was with Le amiche del cuore that her career took off and, in 1993, she co-starred in Perdiamoci di vista for which she won the David di Donatello award (the Italian Oscar).
Argento worked for Patrice Chéreau in La Reine Margot then cracked the English-language market for her role in Michael Radford's B. Monkey.
In addition to acting, Argento is also a screenwriter and director with a growing number of credits to her name.
The new millennium saw her following in the footsteps of her father with the release of her directorial debut, Scarlet Diva.
In XXX, Argento played the mysterious love interest of Vin Diesel, then starred in Ginostra and French film La Sirene Rouge.
Recent work includes the The Heart is Deceiptful Above All Things, which she co-wrote, directed and starred in.
